About Us

Fighting for Freedom, Justice, and Equality Since 1909

The Scotland County NAACP is part of the nation’s oldest and largest civil rights organization.

For over a century, the NAACP has led the charge for equal rights in education, economic opportunity, criminal justice, healthcare, and voting access. Here in Scotland County, we carry that legacy forward by advocating for our community, standing against injustice, and working toward a future where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
